Dr. Bikman is the director of the Laboratory of Obesity and Metabolism, also known as the Bikman Lab. The purpose of the Bikman Lab is not only to explain the processes that accompany metabolic disorders like obesity, diabetes, and Alzheimer’s, but also to learn more about the cellular processes that are responsible for fat development in the human body.

Jacqueline Eberstein, R.N. began working with Dr. Robert Atkins in 1974, after stints in intensive care and recovery room nursing.

As Director of Medical Education at The Atkins Center for Complementary Medicine in New York City, she was responsible for the education of medical staff on the principles and protocols of the Atkins Lifestyle. Additionally, she spent many years as a full-time practitioner, utilizing complementary medicine approaches as practiced by Dr. Atkins. She designed and ran The Atkins Center’s Modified Diet Program and Atkins Low Carb cruises.

A contributor to a number of Dr. Atkins’ books, newsletters, and his magazine, she also appeared regularly, as a guest and host, on “Your Health Choices,” Dr. Atkins' syndicated radio program.

Megan Ramos

Megan Ramos has worked alongside Dr. Jason Fung, a world-leading nutrition expert since 2003.

She is a clinical researcher by trade, with the majority of her research focused on preventative medicine.

Megan co-founded the Intensive Dietary Management Program with Dr. Fung in 2014 after being diagnosed with diabetes herself and was the program’s first guinea pig. Megan is a therapeutic fasting expert.

Ivor Cummins

Following less-than-optimum blood test results, Ivor Cummins used his 25-year background in biochemical engineering to research the papers and studies of the last 5 decades, primarily in relation to the "diet-heart" hypothesis.

Scouring past writings that supported the hypothesis that dietary saturated fat elevated blood cholesterol, which in turn drove heart disease mortality, Ivor found the "evidence" given at the time to be loose correlation at most, and certainly not causation.

He found that the tenacity of this flawed hypothesis has turned out to be no laughing matter, condemning millions to the misery of obesity, type 2 diabetes and an extraordinary range of inflammatory diseases.
